No worries Michael, i understand that you must be really busy! Yeah i think it's really good that there are some courses but i wish that this was a required course to complete and not an optional one because it seems like there is very little that we get taught about pain.
The case study did not elaborate on co-management strategies, but i thought that it would be a good idea to consult her doctor about her RA management and medicine.
Also she had a BMI of 31 and had trouble sleeping over 5 hours a night because she just did not feel tired even though she is moderately active (takes around 6-7k steps a day). So i thought that some lifestyle advice with a exercise program that she would be willing to try might be good and also a referrance with a dietician if possible.
Yeah i thought about that hand grip exercises might be good for her too.
The ''re-education'' hypothesis is just something i have been thinking about every now and then, i think Louis Gifford wrote something like that in the Aches and Pains book, and Erik Meira talks about making the tissues tolerant to loads so the idea might have been a combination of these.
Thanks Michael for taking you're time and responding!
